The prompt for this week’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday post is: “some/sum.” Use either or both words, or choose a word in which either are used as a prefix or suffix.
Someday soon, my family will use this firepit. We’ll roast some marshmallows and hotdogs. Using the sum of chocolate, graham crackers, and those roasted marshmallows, we’ll ‘eat us sum’ s’mores as well. We’ve been renovating our backyard with a winsome wall, a handsome pergola, a fence for our pool equipment, and a ditch to backwash the filter into. It’s been tough work, we’ve sweated and grown sore every weekend for the past 4, but as you can see the firepit alone is shaping up nicely. When we’re done it will be celebration time for sure! Today my wife informed me we were taking the weekend off from working in the backyard so a smaller sort of celebration is in order: relaxing and being lazy!
Since I have no more to say about this distant dream of using the firepit, I’ll sum it up with this to end this stream of consciousness post: Something like this could provide our family with some real quality time! Don’t you agree? You know what they say, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. 😉
